Connecting Asians Worldwide

My family must have put up so many balikbayan boxes over the years. Weighing them was a particular problem. When I was older, mom and dad used to make me hold the box and stand on the scale. They'd check the total weight, then weigh me without the box and calculate the difference. That's how they'd find out that the box was 20 pounds overweight!!

Good times! Anyway, Maligayang Pasko to all, and to all a good carne norte.

What did your family put in your balikbayan box this year?

I love this video. It is such a great skit about the junk we give our relatives in the Philippines... I have always wondered why we don't just send money?? Oh well, I guess they like the corned beef? (I know I do!!)

HAHAHAHAHA I've seen around 80% of those items at least once in the balikbayan boxes we get/send. Sheesh. This reminds me of one of Rex Navarrete's jokes..
