okay, you should get a bunch of hits to your youtube video, as i just made a youtube "greeting card" out of it and said Merry Christmas to all my friends and family. haha...

Finally, a video. ;) Very soothing, best background music while sipping a cup of hot chocolate, lol. Good job, Damo!

hey, you are quite knowledgeable with the music theory. Do you gig and perform somewhere? With a jazz trio or something? You should...

oh, i was confusing this song with "The Christmas Song". but, nice modulation and resolve. i'll have to try that on piano.

thanks man! the tune fits over a straight forward I-vi-ii-V-I progression with a V-of-V progression as cadence. I already had ideas about how i wanted to reharmonize the tune, but the voicings i went with were part of the improvisation (hence the concentration and my stupid 'guitar chin', saki :P).

i was reasonably happy with the end result - particularly that momentary modulation up a minor 3rd (playing Abm9 (ii of Gb) - Db13 (V7 of Gb) resolving back to EbMaj7).

cool, dude! that's one of the harder xmas carols to play, chord progression-wise. :o)

Very nice. Feels light and wistful to me. You seem to be very carefully executing the whole piece though, lots of concentration, lol. :)
