Update for My Previous Post
Well, I was praying for this but...the young girl was supposed to have an interview for the permanent position in my office tomorrow, then HR sent out e-mail around 3:45 in the afternoon to notify cancellation for all the interview.
Young girl...I will call her "L" told me she was going to HR. She came back in a few min. crying. She told me that the our President for the school decided not to hire any opening position for a while.
You know...another budget cut.
L was so upset. Then she told me, "I am not going to stop here. I am going to talk to someone."
Who is this girl? Who does she think she is???
There was no guarantee for her to get the position since too many people complained about her, and they had 21 other applicants for the interview process.
I was talking to another employee...L talked to some other people about me...
L told them she could not stand me because my position was much higher than hers. L thinks she should be the same level with me.
So...what does it tell you? I still come to the conclusion that she feel that way because I am a Japanese...and not US citizen.
Ever since L was moved to our office...from the beginning, she did not like me to tell her what to do. Well, I was supposed to tell her what to do. Even though I am not her direct supervisor...I am like an office manager. Even our supervisor told L and others I would be in charge when he is not around or I have the same authority as he, L was already against me. It does not matter what our boss says. In her mind, she has already denied me.
You know what? I do not need to prove anything to her. She need to learn. L is only 21. She has a lot to learn in this world. I may be cold since I don't feel sorry for her when her interview got canceled. Some other employee said, "That's what she gets!" and I think L heard them.
Another employee said L became over-confident. That's it, "over-confident". Maybe sometimes just being a young blond won't get everything she want.
