More than a year ago, when I return to Hong Kong, I find myself a foreigner in a foreign country. I grew up aboard so I didn't know anyone or any places, it must be crazy to leave the comfort of everything you know behind and start a fresh page in your life. Who has the courage for that, and that's what I did.… Continue

When I talk to people, I say this "I try today so I can see what happens tomorrow." I think that's the general truth about life. When I was in college, I've learn that sometimes you need to set aside grades and see that accomplishment isn't define just in GPA, but in efforts. It is not in the obvious, it is… Continue

Yiu Kwok One

These are my tags. I don't have a business card, but I do have tags. I've spend the last fifteen minutes carefully composing a blog, but only to delete it in its entirety. I've reach a stage in life where I don't want to say too much. Instead I would like to post pictures of my own works and let the image speaks for me, after all that's where the efforts where put in. Continue

Maddy The WSJ Paper Hats

Today was filled with mini-adventures and one involved making paper hats. The BF came up with the brilliant idea to make paper hats using today’s Wall Street Journal. This came to him while we were outside of Rocco’s sipping on a $2.75 pitcher of PBR. Photos I also baked a hearty loaf of beer bread and a delicious pot of champagne risotto when we got home. I’ll blog about that at another time. Read on! Continue

goofymom Update for My Previous Post

Well, I was praying for this but...the young girl was supposed to have an interview for the permanent position in my office tomorrow, then HR sent out e-mail around 3:45 in the afternoon to notify cancellation for all the interview. Young girl...I will call her "L" told me she was going to HR. She came back in a few min. crying.
