I believe in alternate universes. Whenever my life branches off onto a different path, I can just see the trajectory of what my life would have been like if I had chosen differently.

There are many times when I am glad I changed careers late in life. It's not like I didn't have one when I was 25 and decided to switch to nursing. It's just that, particularly after my best friend's mom's death, I felt something missing in my life.

So, I decided to go into a cosmetic store and buy some eyeshadow. I know, I know. I'm 28 and I haven't bought any eyeshadow?? But I'm sort of a low-maintenance type girl. Usually I just put on mascara + eyeliner and go out. I've incorporated false eyelashes just this year. :P
